Kim Rosin is a textile designer. She was born and
raised in Johannesburg, South Africa where she studied Fine Art and Art
History. She worked for Sotheby's in South Africa and London for many years
and then for top interior design and architecture companies in London,
immersing herself in classical and modern art and design and later, textiles
at St Martin's College of Art in London. This experience, along with her
heritage in African Art, has led her to develop a highly individual style
and to create vibrant, exquisitely colored fabrics. |

philosophy is simple: Move fast, keep going, never slow down. I create what
feels right. I don’t know the rules, so of course that makes it even easier
to break them. Rules are bad! Colors are meant to go together, meant to

exact. While I was only with the sideshow from 1991 to 1994, I had a
lifetime of experiences in that short time. When I left the sideshow
in 1994 I returned to work as a pharmacist, but eventually I stopped doing
that and am currently making lamps. |
